Clean-Up & Maintenance
Great beds begin with regular maintenance. This may involve annual weed control, mulching, pruning, and trimming of shrubs. We can greatly improve your flower and shrub beds by combining fertilizer and soil mix.
Spring clean-up involves: raking and removal of debris from beds and lawn areas, tip pruning plants as necessary, re-edging of walkways, application of pre-emergent herbicide to bed areas, cutting back of perennials, fertilization of plants, and mulch application.
Fall clean-up involves: raking and removal of debris from beds and lawn areas, tip pruning plants as necessary, cutting back of perennials.
Gerlach’s suggests two fall clean-ups in mid October and late November to ensure that your lawn stays healthy and does not become smothered.
